Walk A Hunt

Sunday 14th December 2008, Walk A Hunt event at the Capital City of Brunei Darussalam, Bandar Seri Begawan. This event was organized by BSM. I also joined this event with bib no.015.

Members of Brunei Mount Trekker joined this fun game.

This is not part of the game...she's probably like karaoke than the game.
This is actually weekly event in BSB for weekend bazaar.


Q-up submitting answers just before 12.30 noon. End of the event game. The result of the winners and prizes presentation were held in the afternoon and didn't manage to come cause of tired.

My New Toy

This new toy I just got it this afternoon. It a USB GPS receiver, manufactured by GlobalSat Technology Corporation. Bought this GPS receiver online from Isle of Man, somewhere in UK. From the mail stamped, it was being sent on 21st November and reached to Brunei on 3rd December, that is less than 2 weeks. It got sent to KB post office the next day 4th December and only by today that is 10th December, given to me. That took 6 days to processed for local delivery....huh!!!

I tried this GPS receiver at home with the bundle GPS test software and it work just fine. This what I got for my location:

E 114' 12.8429

Want to know where I live? Check it with Google Map. Its pretty accurate and I love it.
p/s: you have to change it to decimal numbers. Hint: divide the last by 60.

LaPorPo Outing Golf

3rd December 2008, once again AG Dola organized 18 holes LaPorPo Outing Golf at RBA Golf Course and tee-off at 09.00hrs. Yesterday, only 12 players joined the game and mostly players are from the WEST. The game ended at 1500hrs. Overall winners for the LaPorPo Outing Golf, 1st: Hj. Ibrahim HO (Score=76), 2nd: Hj Halim HT (Score=78) and 3rd: AG.Dola & Zainal Abidin HM (Both score=80).

ZOOM! Broadband

I just subscribed 1 year plan ZOOM! Unlimited Broadband from B.Mobile and got free 3.5Mbps USB modem. Fed up of using mobile phone to surf internet cause it sooo...slow!!! Got chance to tried this afternoon and the speed is great. I tried download PSP game MEGAMAN of 650MB, it took about 1 hour plus with average speed of 180kbps, 100MB per +10 minutes. Now it will be easier for me to upload new pictures and also download animes & 24hrs on-line hahaha....

Hua Ho Manggis Roadshow
